The Buddhist Prints are a brief artistic reflection
by Hodaka on his own Japanese Buddhist cultural tradition. His red seal on each print indicates this. There is more variety
here in style, subject matter, and printing techniques. This stage lasted from the end of 1953 through 1954, when Hodaka would
abruptly change again.
